Examining The Habitual Life

The website at DgsWilson.Com was getting so crowded that I decided to move a lot of pages and resources over here. I suppose I want to offer resources and help to people who don't have some classical, easily labeled addictions, that majority of the people in the industrialized world who never consider themselves "Addicted". People who are just living habitually. If we live habitually - if we go through our day doing things and thinking things because "That's what we do" - we'll never be as healthy and happy as we could be.

Why would anyone want to do that anyway?

The world is changing, whether we like it or not. There are forces working against normal everyday people and those forces count on us not to think out of the box. They count on us to live habitually and stay "Boxed In". There is no threat coming from a habitually boxed in person and when an entire population becomes dependent the powers that be can basically do anything they like - with little or no opposition. If unchecked, this will end in the dissolution of freedom and put an end to the option individual choice. The great addiction in the 21st century is dependence on government sponsorship.

What that means exactly is living a government approved lifestyle. The governments of the world today are the administrative arm for the policies of the powerful. Governments don't decide things - so why would anyone listen to them or consider them an authority on important issues - like what you think, what to eat, what type of medical care you choose or what is moral and ethical? If people aren't constantly questioning and reforming the way the world operates - They Are Living Habitually.

The Purpose: Why Is This Site Here?

I guess the main focus of "Addiction In The 21st Century" is to enlighten. You know what they say about shining a light into the darkness - What was hidden is revealed. I have conversations with societally successful people all the time who are really not satisfied with life. That is Life in general. They aren't satisfied with what they do to earn a living. They aren't satisfied with the state of things. The state of things always boils down to the things people are doing. They're not happy with the laws people have made, the way the social system operates and so on.

I can't imagine anyone in their right mind feeling good about "The State of Things Today". I guess some people have fooled themselves into believing that things will just work out on there own, but this is part of a habitual thinking process. There's certainly no evidence to support the notion that things will work out on there own. Nor is there any evidence to support a belief that "Someone" will fix things. Addiction to a belief is as serious as an addiction to alcohol. A belief could be defined as, "That for which sufficient evidence is not attainable". These beliefs can become obsessions and obsession is the same as addiction.

There is a large group of people addicted to the belief that the United States was established by God. Being Gods country - God will fix things. So far all evidence points to this being nothing more than a fairy tale. I've found that every problem known to man through out history ( which simply repeats itself) is a result of belief. To find out for yourself if this is true we might have to practice the principles used by addicts in recovery. These principles are open mindedness, willingness and honesty. These principles allow people to move outside there boxes. Out of habitual living.

(So far I've got no answers back)

I'm going to make use of all the resources I have on the other website. I'll begin putting pages here that you can use to link to healthy products and information. There are a few places I've found that have a lot of free information you can start receiving in the form of newsletters. The products I list here are either products I use or products I'd like to try.

The products I'd like to try are the do it yourself energy products. I haven't had the time to put any of them together and test them, but lots of people have and it's something to investigate. The mindless act of habitually staying yoked to an energy grid - just doesn't make sense. I'm moving around too much to make use of the resources available but anyone who is not, on the move, check them out.
